OK so I'm a hopeless blogger!!

Yes, I know it has been way too long since I have posted.....and so much has happened. I have done lots of scrapbooking, for a start. I have finished Kolette Halls "Choosing Joy" class at Big Picture Scrapbooking, which I really enjoyed doing, and I have signed up for another class there too.....which starts at the beginning of May. I have been to 2 of Jen Halls classes which have been excellent. She is such a giving woman, she has so much talent and I love spending time with her. I have also started the Altered Bookclub with Ruby St Designs in Cairns and that is REALLY brilliant and too much fun. We are just waiting for our second insallment and we'll be off on out journey again. If you haven't seen their website and are in to vintage glamour you HAVE to check it out. Kris is brilliant. So here is some of my work from the last month.

We have been spending lots of time with Sam who is developing a real character, now and he is such a show off!! Alissa took these beautiful photo of him at Shelly Beach just before Easter. It is gorgeous and I love it. He is such a good boy and

has a lovely nature. He is very gentle and

accepting, very easy going. Alissa and Ben are

moving into their new house next week, on

the Thursday after Anzac Day, so that will be very exciting for them all. Sam will heve a backyard to play in and lots of space to run around in (when he starts running!!).

Our gorgeous Xena died suddenly too on the 21st

of March which was a terrible shock to us. She had a gastric bug, but nothing life threatening and she just died peacefully in her sleep. It was terribly sad and we all missed her heaps, especially Bailey who had no-one to hang around with anymore so we got..........Hugo!!.

Hugo is a beautiful big male, 2yo. german Shepherd with a big heart. We got him from Monica's Rescue Service, which rescues dogs from the pounds and Death Row. Hugo was in the pen to be destroyed and we are so glad he wasn't because he has fitted in here like it was meant to be (and it probably was) and he, Bailey and Smokey Bob get on like a house on fire and have the best time. So that is the end of an era for old animals in our street. Xena was the last of them, and we now have the youngest animals in the street.

So I will try to keep this more up to date. Jen, I will put some photos up from yesterday tomorrow.....does that make sense?
Bye...... keep smiling, remain positive and Carpe Diem!!!

Winning Wednesday.

Today i got the most fabulous things in the mail! I had placed an order with scrabook.com and amongst some other new things I got these beautiful Fancy Pants Journaling Cards. They are really gorgeous and they have some beautiful quotes on them as well. The one I am going to share with you today is from Kalil Gibran-" It is when you give of yourself that you TRULY give".

What a great quote to remember as we go about our daily lives.

CHOOSE JOY.

Here is another page of Sam taken from Jen Halls Blog as a step by step(and isn't she a LEGEND) and also a heritage page of Claudes Grandmother and her brother in Africa. Ilove the photo. It is fantastic.

This is so much fun, I can't believe it.

I think I know how to add a picture... here goes nothing.....

a scrapbook page I did on the weekend...
YAY!!! I did it.

My First Post

I am new to this blogging but I wanted to show off my family and my scrapbooking and maybe meet some new people along the way.

I have been off work today and this is what I have done (apart from a scrapbook page). I am hopefully going to be able to manage this blog and will attempt to make it my own styke as I work out what to do.

Wish me luck.... I am not great with this stuff so it may take some time.I'll ask my friend Alison, she is very clever with this stuff.

See you soon, hopefully.
